On America’s highways, innocent journeys can become deadly trips when homicides take place on the road. Detectives and the victims’ loved ones reveal the terrifying details of each tragic case. A three-part anthology series for Investigation Discovery that I series directed. We referenced the colour palette of urban, sodium lighting in our interview setups, using in-vision fluorescent tubes to create a unique setup. Elsewhere, we ran action in the reflection of vehicle windows and bodywork to give a sense of the textures and abstract visuals that a car journey sometimes yields. Filmed in locations across the USA with drama recon (including a degree of dialogue)  in Norfolk, this series was a new look on true crime.
